Terms of Service
Last Updated: 21 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GPT Watermark-Remover (the "Service"), operated by Grow Fast Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16534124), registered office 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX ("we", "us", "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service GPT Watermark-Remover is a web application that lets you paste text or upload supported documents (.docx, .pages), detect invisible ASCII and Unicode "watermark" characters, highlight them, remove them, and copy or download the cleaned result. Usage limits (for example, the number of characters or scans available on free and signed-in tiers) are shown in the application and may change over time.
3. Eligibility and Your Content
- You retain all rights to text and files you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
- You agree not to submit illegal, infringing, harmful, or offensive content, and you are responsible for compliance with all laws that apply to your use of the Service.
- You must not use the Service to misrepresent authorship where you are under a legal, academic, or contractual duty to disclose the use of AI. Responsibility for how you use cleaned text rests with you.
4. Intellectual Property
- All Service code, design, graphics, and trademarks are owned by Grow Fast Ltd and protected by copyright and other laws.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.
5. Accounts
- Some features require you to sign in, including with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- When you sign in with Google, the Service may display your Google profile image within the application for personalisation. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Auto-Renewal
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis for the billing period shown at checkout (for example, weekly or monthly).
- Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not retroactively cancel a period already paid for.
- If we change subscription prices, we will give you reasonable advance notice, and the new price will apply only from your next renewal.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
- The Service provides access to digital content and digital services immediately after purchase. By completing a purchase and starting to use the Service, you ask us to begin supply at once and acknowledge that you therefore lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel for a refund, to the extent the Service has been supplied.
- Payments already taken for the current billing period are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law (for example, if the Service is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose).
- To avoid being charged for a further period, cancel before your next renewal date. Once cancelled, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Lifetime Premium
- "Lifetime Premium" does not mean a lifelong or unlimited guarantee. It refers to access for as long as the Service remains actively operated.
- We may discontinue the Service if continued operation becomes economically, technically, or legally unreasonable. In that event we will give Lifetime Premium subscribers at least three (3) months' notice.
- Except where a refund or other remedy is required by law, no refund or compensation will be provided to Lifetime Premium subscribers on discontinuation.
- By purchasing Lifetime Premium you acknowledge that "lifetime" is limited to the operational lifespan of the Service and does not guarantee perpetual access.
9. Detection Methodology and Accuracy
- Pure text scan (aggressive): Our text scan flags ASCII and Unicode characters that could be watermarks or could be ordinary formatting. Because many characters serve both purposes, this method may flag false positives. We show you everything that could be a watermark so you can decide what to remove.
- Document upload (less aggressive): For .docx and .pages files, we allow common formatting characters and focus on detecting likely watermark characters, using document structure to improve accuracy.
- The detection tools are provided for information only. You are responsible for reviewing flagged content before removing it.
- Important: The Service removes invisible Unicode characters. It does not change AI-writing detection scores produced by tools such as Turnitin, GPTZero, or Originality.ai, which analyse the visible writing itself rather than hidden characters. Removing invisible characters has no effect on those scores.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the results.
- This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grow Fast Ltd and its affiliates, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability in connection with these Terms will not exceed £100.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnification You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grow Fast Ltd and its personnel from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.
13. Privacy and Data
- We do not log or store your input text, IP addresses, or any personal data beyond what is set out in our Privacy Policy.
- For full details, see our separate Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to Terms We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For material changes affecting paid subscribers, we will give reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
- If you are a consumer resident outside England and Wales, you continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement.
